Forge Shop Operator

COMPANY INFORMATION:
Painesville manufacturer of domestic fasteners, forgings and machined parts, is seeking a full time Forge Operator.

SUMMARY:

Must be able to set-up & operate forging upsetters & presses, operate forklift, use calipers and maintain dimensional data records.

Skills & Capabilities:

Prior production experience in an industrial setting is required. Successful candidate will be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, while possessing an outstanding attendance record, and enjoys a fast-paced environment. Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
