Specialty Fasteners
PRODUCT
Over one third of all Dyson products fall under the specialty fastener category. All of our fasteners-including bolts, nuts, cap screws and construction accessories can have modified dimensions and/or materials to meet your exact requirements. Customer drawings and specifications are welcome.
In addition to large forging capabilities, we can machine product as small as 1/4". Other processes include deep hole drilling, high precision broaching, shearing, torch cutting, large diameter milling, single point threading, high speed tapping, convoluting, and system 22 gaging thru 4-1/2".
MATERIALS
Dyson regularly works with low to medium carbon, alloy, stainless, monel, inconel, titanium, brass, bronze, copper, aluminum and other high temperature alloy steels. Exotic materials are our specialty.
SPECIFICATIONS
We regularly work to most ASTM, ASME and SAE specifications. For military applications, we commonly work to MIL-S-1222, MIL-S-24093, MIL-B-857, FF-S-85, FF-S-86 and FF-N-836. In addition, MS, NAS and ASB specifications are also available.
