Rods/Studs/Pins

Dyson Studs and Tie-Rods can be found in many major construction projects throughout the United States. Our 8000 ton steel inventory allows us to manufacture product quickly to meet your construction demands. Threads can be cut or rolled, with capabilities of producing up to four truckloads per day. In-house CNC turning/milling, broaching, drilling, tapping, forging, bending, heat treat and testing allows Dyson to produce all varieties of product, no matter how special. Routine finishes are hot dipped & mechanical galvanize, zinc, dacromet and epoxy, with others available. Special Packaging includes PVC tubing, protective tape and thread protection.

Dyson maintains a large Inventory of TFL rod and raw material. We can cut and/or thread to meet exact customer requirements. Same day shipments are also available. Specials can be produced In a wide variety of sizes and materials. Inhouse forging, machining, heat treat and mechanical testing allows for quick turnaround on all non-standard rods, studs & pins.

Coating Options

Dyson uses only qualified coaters and can offer most finishes including HDG, Epoxy, mechanical galv, Zinc, Cadmium, Chrome Black Oxide, Phosphate, Nickel and Copper.

Machine Options

• Standard studs & rods have hot rolled bodies.
• Standard pins have turned bodies.
• Specials can have any surface machined and/or ground. Machined broaching and deep hole drilling are also available. We can work to your required tolerances and finishes.
